Senior or Staff Scientist (Perturb-seq)

Base salary: $135,400–$203,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead high-throughput, genome-wide Perturb-seq experiments for target identification and validation.
• Build the team and laboratory infrastructure required to run high-throughput sequencing experiments.
• Design, develop, and validate quantitative cellular assays for novel target credentialing.
• Collaborate with academic and clinical partners to integrate human genetics data with functional genomics and sequencing assays.
• Develop target hypotheses and study disease indications using high-throughput functional genomics strategies.
• Present findings at scientific meetings and publish in peer-reviewed journals while mentoring lab-based staff.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field, with at least four years of experience.
• Extensive expertise in experimental and computational biology techniques.
• Experience developing and analyzing high-throughput sequencing assays and single-cell sequencing.
• Experience with CRISPR, cell culture, iPSC models, target identification, and target validation.
• Strong technical proficiency, innovation, scientific rigor, and a publication record in high-quality scientific journals.
