Hiring salary range: $104,000–$110,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop, execute, automate, and scale arrayed and pooled mammalian cell-based gene-editing assays.
• Design and run low- and high-throughput plasmid-cloning campaigns to build DNA libraries.
• Use plate-based assays, flow cytometry, and next-generation sequencing readouts.
• Perform mammalian cell culture, transfection, data analysis, and experimental interpretation.
• Track samples, assay data, and results, and present findings in team and cross-team meetings.
• Maintain the laboratory and follow environmental, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• BS with 4 years or MS with 2 years of relevant industry research experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience with mammalian and bacterial cell culture and molecular biology.
• Experience with flow cytometry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
• Ongoing United States work authorization is required; employer sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRISPR and mammalian cell-based gene-editing assays.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing wet-lab and computational workflows.
• Experience with high-throughput screening and process development.
• Experience analyzing large experimental datasets using Python or JMP.
