Company

hirify.global is a frontier research lab developing brain-computer interfaces that connect biological systems with advanced AI.

What you will do

  • Design, deploy, optimize, and maintain large-scale pipelines for genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data.
  • Architect data-processing frameworks that transform raw omics data into clean, analysis-ready datasets.
  • Integrate multimodal biological data with machine learning models to uncover mechanistic and predictive insights.
  • Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to define optimization objectives and encode domain-specific priors and constraints.
  • Prototype, benchmark, and validate modeling frameworks using internal and public datasets.
  • Contribute to research roadmaps, novel algorithms, discovery workflows, and first-principles analysis for non-domain experts.

Requirements

  • Deep experience analyzing bulk and single-cell omics data and building bioinformatics pipelines.
  • Expertise in Python and/or R, with fluency in workflow management tools such as Nextflow or Dagster.
  • Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and JAX, with the ability to write clean, reproducible, production-grade code.
  • Experience bridging computational biology and experimental science with sparse, noisy, or high-cost data.
  • Collaborative, systems-level mindset.
  • Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with neuroscience.
  • Familiarity with transfer-learning paradigms.

Culture & Benefits

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across molecular engineering, synthetic biology, neuroscience, engineering, and data science.
  • Opportunity to work on high-bandwidth brain-computer interface technologies and advanced biological systems.
  • Equity included in the compensation package.
  • Commitment to equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations.
