What you will do

• Conduct research projects using molecular biology, cell biology, and genomics techniques.
• Perform DNA, RNA, and protein analyses, mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning, lentiviral experiments, and CRISPR-based studies.
• Use mouse and zebrafish models to investigate gene function, disease mechanisms, and cellular pathways.
• Design, optimize, and execute protocols; analyze, interpret, and summarize experimental data.
• Contribute to scientific presentations, reports, and manuscript preparation.
• Maintain laboratory operations, troubleshoot equipment, manage inventory, order supplies, and train laboratory personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Experience in molecular and cellular biology, including DNA, RNA, and protein analysis.
• Scientist track: 8 years of relevant experience, or 6 years with a Master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• Associate Scientist track: 7+ years of research experience, or 5+ years with a Master's degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and scientific independence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with functional genomics, CRISPR technologies, lentiviral vector design, or in vivo models.
• Productivity during graduate or postdoctoral training; publications are preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
