Technology Sourcing Analyst II (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work with onsite presence four days per week at a regional office within the United States when within commuting distance; remote work may be considered within the M&T footprint for candidates outside regional hubs. Regional offices are located in Hauppauge, Buffalo, Boston, Baltimore, Washington, Wilmington, New York, Bridgeport, and Burlington.

Salary: $62,200.00–$103,600.00 annual USD

What you will do

• Lead and support strategic sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for technology products and services.
• Develop sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation criteria, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and executive-ready recommendations.
• Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, maintenance, and technology professional services agreements.
• Coordinate contract reviews with Legal and subject matter experts, including negotiation of pricing, renewals, service levels, audit rights, and termination terms.
• Analyze licensing, subscription, and cloud consumption data to identify savings and reduce unused technology spend.
• Support vendor due diligence, risk-tiering, performance reviews, renewals, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of proven financial or business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience writing RFPs and negotiating technology-related agreements, including enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, and consulting services.
• Strong contract review and redlining skills across MSA, SOW, order forms, and other IT commercial and legal terms.
• Knowledge of software licensing models, cloud consumption pricing, maintenance structures, subscription agreements, procurement platforms, contract management systems, and spend analytics tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and time management skills, with experience working across management levels.
• Ability to work onsite four days per week at a U.S. regional office when within commuting distance; remote consideration is limited to the M&T footprint.
