Director, Strategic Sourcing - Technology

Location: Hybrid in downtown Seattle, Washington, or Centennial, Colorado; required in-office attendance four days per week.

Salary: $175,000–$275,000 annual, with possible performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a strategic sourcing team supporting hirify.global’s Technology organization.
• Build proactive partnerships with technology executives during roadmap and budget planning.
• Develop category strategies, supplier risk recommendations, and multi-year sourcing plans.
• Manage strategic supplier performance and create forward-looking visibility into deals, renewals, and negotiations.
• Lead complex, high-value technology negotiations and drive faster procurement cycles.
• Apply technology market, competitor, and AI-sourcing intelligence to identify risk, savings, and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• 12+ years of global strategic sourcing or procurement experience, ideally supporting a Technology organization.
• 10+ years of team leadership or people management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with technology stakeholders and influence senior executives.
• Expertise in market analysis, category strategy, supplier relationship management, vendor alliances, should-cost models, and negotiation strategies.
• Knowledge of procurement legal requirements and contracting best practices.
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite, Oracle, BI applications, charting programs, and sourcing tools.
