Accounts Payable Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role near Centennial, Colorado, United States; some work must be performed onsite.

Base salary: $70,000–$115,000 per year, with the final level and salary determined by knowledge, skills, education, location, and experience.

What you will do

• Process accounts payable invoices through P2P software and match invoices with approved purchase orders.
• Maintain vendor documentation and the accounts payable email inbox.
• Support weekly payment runs and post payments in the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, investigate discrepancies, and manage credit card and travel expenditures.
• Review and post expense reports and assist with month-end close activities.
• Support annual audit requests and perform other assigned accounting duties.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must be located near Centennial, Colorado, and able to work onsite as required in the hybrid environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR regulations.

• Accounts receivable experience.
• Previous aerospace and defense experience.
• Experience with NetSuite, P2P software, and expense management software.
