Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Process and post customer payments and refunds accurately and promptly.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Generate aging reports and customer statements.
• Investigate billing issues and disputes with sales and customer service teams.
• Prepare bank deposits, support month-end close procedures, maintain financial records, and assist with audits.

Requirements

• Accounting background with experience in journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work against tight month-end close deadlines.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite and Ramp.
