TL;DR
Senior Sales Engineer (AI/Data Trust): Leading presales activities, customized demonstrations, and proof-of-concept implementations for an enterprise data trust platform with an accent on data quality, governance, and AI-enabled solutions. Focus on aligning complex technical environments with client needs, positioning data trust for AI and autonomous agents, and using generative AI, LLMs, agent frameworks, and MCP in daily sales engineering work.
Location: USA; hybrid work setup
OTE compensation: $200,000–$250,000 USD, including base and bonus.

What you will do
- Manage sales engineering activities across the full deal lifecycle in partnership with Account Executives.
- Build tailored presentations, demonstrations, and client solutions for different industries and business needs.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects, configure the platform, and demonstrate solutions to customer-specific technical challenges.
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions and position ONE as the data trust layer for analytics, AI, and autonomous agents.
- Use generative AI tools for account research, demo scenarios, RFP/RFI responses, and POC scripting.
- Maintain expertise in relevant technologies, competitors, industry use cases, and the evolving AI agent ecosystem.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting.
- Experience with data quality, data governance, or master data management tools.
- Working knowledge of data observability, data catalogs, data lineage, data products, data marketplaces, data mesh, or data contracts.
- Hands-on familiarity with generative AI tools, LLMs, AI agents, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Proficiency in SQL, data pipelines, Databricks or Snowflake, and APIs; programming experience, ideally in Python.
- Experience supporting large enterprises with complex technical environments and strong problem-solving skills.
