Engineering Manager, DevEx (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Lead the DevEx Deploy & Run team and own developer and business outcomes.
• Guide architecture and technical strategy for the internal developer platform, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build reusable patterns, self-service tooling, automation, and operational guardrails.
• Improve deployment velocity, platform reliability, observability, adoption, and developer productivity.
• Hire, coach, and retain platform and software engineers while providing ownership and growth opportunities.
• Partner with engineering teams across hirify.global to understand pain points and drive platform adoption.

Requirements

• Experience managing high-performing platform engineering teams.
• Experience with project planning, tracking, and team roadmaps.
• Technical expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, cloud-native architecture, GitOps, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, Python, Terraform, Datadog, network architecture, DNS, and Cloudflare.
• Ability to improve developer experience, deployment reliability, and engineering effectiveness.
• Clear, direct communication with platform teams and product engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience using generative AI tools to develop and deploy applications, including agentic applications and services using LLM APIs.
