Senior Counsel, Primary Care Organization

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $168,000–$231,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Provide legal guidance for CenterWell senior-focused primary care delivery and operations.
• Advise on fraud, waste, and abuse laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and Beneficiary Inducement Statute.
• Support healthcare regulatory diligence for potential merger and acquisition activity.
• Coordinate and address legal issues during post-closing integration.
• Collaborate with company leaders to maintain compliance and reduce external legal risk.
• Advise executives on complex legal matters and functional strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5–10 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active membership in a state bar association.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or similar healthcare regulatory work.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Dedicated home workspace and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
• Experience with healthcare provider operations.
• Merger and acquisition experience.
• Familiarity with Medicare risk adjustment, billing, and coding requirements.
