VodafoneThree - Senior Network Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Customer site in Leiston, Suffolk, United Kingdom; predominantly site-based, with location-independent working across nearby hirify.global offices or customer sites when operationally required. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, with out-of-hours remote standby support as needed.

What you will do

• Plan, design, implement, and deliver LAN, WLAN, and WAN network solutions based on customer requirements.
• Act as the technical lead for customer network projects and monitor delivery progress.
• Build, stage, commission, and install network equipment when required.
• Manage change control, risk assessments, health and safety documentation, and customer network documentation.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers, provide project updates, and present delivered solutions to stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities and maintain technical procedures, customer standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience configuring and implementing predominantly Cisco LAN, WLAN, and WAN solutions in enterprise environments.
• Extensive field experience, including installation of networking equipment.
• Full SC Security Clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to work at the customer location in the United Kingdom and across a flexible 8am–6pm shift pattern, with out-of-hours remote standby support.
• Project management experience and the ability to build strong customer relationships while working collaboratively.
