Construction Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing expansions, infrastructure upgrades, office buildouts, and future factory construction from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Own project scope, budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement, change control, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects.
• Manage architects, engineering consultants, contractors, and vendors through design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
• Translate operational requirements into construction plans with Engineering, Production, EHS, IT, and Finance.
• Coordinate industrial utilities, manufacturing equipment infrastructure, commissioning, inspections, punch lists, and as-built documentation while minimizing production disruptions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing industrial, manufacturing, or technically complex commercial construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing contractors, capital budgets, schedules, permitting, and construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems, industrial utilities, electrical distribution, HVAC, and life-safety infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, make independent decisions, and drive cross-functional execution with minimal supervision.
• Must work full-time as a W-2 employee onsite in El Segundo, California, and be authorized as a U.S. person to access ITAR-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, investment casting, advanced-manufacturing construction, or large-scale factory expansions.
• PMP certification or experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing startup.
