Project Manager II (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; hybrid work environment with office and remote work

Estimated starting salary: $94,345.12–$129,724.54 per year

What you will do

• Manage multiple projects or larger projects from proposal development through closeout.
• Build project teams, assign responsibilities, and coordinate required resources.
• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external customers and field-based employees on technical matters.
• Track milestones, budgets, performance indicators, risks, and project scope.
• Prepare status reports and communicate progress to senior project and program leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of project management or related technical experience; internships do not count.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Demonstrated project management experience with strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Current active Secret U.S. security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional certification.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, risk planning, scope control, and resource planning.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, AS9100, or CMMI standards.
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.
