Lead Engineer (Developer Experience)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of three engineers while fostering learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Design, build and enhance developer tooling for engineering teams across hirify.global.
• Shape platform engineering standards, automation approaches and software delivery practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remove delivery obstacles and improve speed, safety and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance on complex platform engineering and developer experience challenges.

Requirements

• Strong experience building applications, tools or platforms with .NET, TypeScript, Node and modern JavaScript technologies.
• Experience creating developer-focused tooling that improves productivity, software quality and engineering efficiency.
• Knowledge of automation, self-service capabilities, intuitive tooling and software testing practices.
• Understanding of public cloud platforms, continuous integration, continuous deployment and modern Agile ways of working.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platform services.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Pulumi.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting other engineers.
• Understanding of platform engineering, developer enablement or cloud-native engineering practices.
