Salary: USD 36.50–58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Assess and reassess oncology patients and families, identify ongoing care needs, and initiate timely referrals.
• Collect and analyze information for new patients, triage needs, schedule appointments, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to develop and communicate plans of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, therapies, testing, and care processes.
• Coordinate transitions of care, delegate appropriately, and serve as a clinical resource for non-clinical staff.
• Apply critical thinking and current nursing practices to optimize patient safety and reduce healthcare errors.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program and an active RN license in Illinois required.
• Current nursing experience within the past five years required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment and maintain relationships with patients, physicians, and clinical and administrative teams.
• Commitment to ongoing professional education, feedback, and development of clinical nursing skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification.
