Specialty Infusion Field Nurse (Infusion Therapy)

Location: Norfolk, Virginia, United States; field-based role requiring travel to patients’ homes across a large geographic region.

Hourly rate: $38–$63 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Administer specialty medications, including IV infusions, safely and effectively in patients’ homes.
• Assess patients, document treatments and progress, and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Coordinate care and patient updates as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and care teams to support holistic patient outcomes.
• Use autonomous clinical judgment to manage patient care and treatment needs.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• At least one year of experience in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout a large geographic region.
• Availability for multiple patient visits per week, including some evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of RN experience in a hospital or home health setting.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.
