Registered Nurse - Med/Surg - Per Diem

Location: Ellensburg, Washington, USA

Salary: $44.70–$79.60 per hour, based on applicable experience. Shift differentials apply: $3.00/hour for evenings, 12% of base rate for nights, and $3.50/hour for weekends.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate inpatient nursing care.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise professional and ancillary personnel.
• Assess patient and family education needs to support health maintenance or restoration after discharge.
• Coordinate nursing and medical plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Float to other hospital departments as patient needs require.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current license in Washington State.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire, with ongoing maintenance required.
• Professional commitment to quality care, leadership, collaboration, and continued development.

Nice to have

• One to two years of clinical experience in an appropriate nursing area.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• PEARS certification.

• Per diem employees must work at least 48 hours over a rolling three-scheduling-period.
