Sr. Manager, Procurement - Repack

Location: Chicago/Aon Center, United States

New hire base salary: $120,800–$151,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead a complex Repack portfolio supporting more than 40 ambient, refrigerated, and frozen product categories.
• Own North America Repack strategy, including make-versus-buy assessments, network design, footprint optimization, and network transformation.
• Govern the Repack project portfolio and pipeline, balancing growth, service, capacity, cost, and execution priorities.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including market intelligence, supplier segmentation, competitive sourcing events, negotiations, and implementation.
• Manage supplier relationships, governance routines, business reviews, performance accountability, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Own category financial performance through operating plan development, forecasting, budgeting, productivity delivery, and total cost of ownership improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations with a record of delivering business results.
• Knowledge of food and beverage supply chains, including manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and supplier network management.
• Experience developing strategic supplier partnerships and negotiating, structuring, and managing supplier contracts and governance frameworks.
• Strong financial, analytical, negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; experience with procurement platforms such as SAP, Ariba, and contract lifecycle management tools, plus basic Tableau or Power BI knowledge and familiarity with AI applications for insights and decision-making.
