Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Consultant

What you will do

• Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.
• Develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection, and lead RFx processes and supplier assessments.
• Partner with business, legal, finance, risk, operations, and senior stakeholders to evaluate sourcing options and supplier capabilities.
• Conduct benchmarking and total cost of ownership analyses while balancing cost, quality, risk, and performance.
• Negotiate commercial, contractual, and service terms and support supplier performance management.
• Identify cost savings, process improvements, risk mitigation opportunities, and other sources of value across multiple client engagements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or related supply chain functions.
• Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and procurement programs across varied spend categories.
• Strong commercial negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities, including evaluation of cost, risk, quality, and supplier performance.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, influence decisions, build consensus, and deliver results in complex, fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in one or more categories such as technology, professional services, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, facilities, MRO, capital equipment, indirect spend, or direct materials.
