Sr. Buyer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Place purchase orders for manufacturing materials and other business functions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders to align purchasing activities with build schedules.
• Track supplier deliveries, manage date changes, and follow up on purchase orders to prevent production delays.
• Resolve supplier quality issues and monitor performance, pricing, terms, and delivery expectations.
• Negotiate short- and long-term agreements and support strategic procurement initiatives.
• Mentor and train purchasing team members while serving as a lead resource.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, plus five or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience in a technology manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, multitasking, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• High standards of professionalism, ethics, quality, and self-motivation.
