What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities across assigned commodities or programs, including RFQ development, supplier selection, negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Coordinate suppliers, customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders on requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
• Own demand fulfillment while optimizing cost, quality, and schedule performance.
• Develop supplier relationships and use performance data and KPIs to drive accountability, continuous improvement, and root-cause resolution.
• Support customer and supplier contracts and improve procurement workflows and operational processes.
• Maintain close coordination with Supplier Quality to resolve issues quickly and accurately.

Requirements

• 2+ years of procurement or supply chain execution experience with commodities such as machined components, electronics, sheet metal, raw materials, PCB/PCBA, capital equipment, or indirect materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong project management, prioritization, attention to detail, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering data, including drawings, GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Experience building cross-functional relationships and working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and purchasing or planning functions. Must work on-site in Los Angeles, California, and meet U.S. government export-control eligibility requirements.

• Experience interpreting GD&T and component profiles to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Experience negotiating NPI programs without established purchase or sourcing data.
• Supplier performance management experience using KPI-driven improvement actions.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
• Experience growing and developing a supplier base.
