Demand Planning Manager (AI)

Location: Based in Deerfield, Illinois, United States; travel required based on business needs, system implementations, and strategic project initiatives.

Salary: USD 116,000–145,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead monthly demand planning and forecasting across multiple business units in the United States and Canada.
• Develop short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts using demand trends, customer behavior, market conditions, product lifecycles, and promotional activity.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Care, and IT teams to create consensus-based demand plans.
• Improve planning processes, governance, reporting, and performance measurement across business units.
• Lead cross-functional transformation projects, including planning technology implementations, system testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Develop dashboards and apply advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, operations, analytics, finance, economics, information systems, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, S&OP, business analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, business transformation, process improvement, and organizational change initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and align cross-functional teams through data-driven recommendations.
• Ability to be based in Deerfield, Illinois, and travel as required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, APS, IBP, forecasting, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, and planning automation.
• Certifications such as APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Experience with SAP IBP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools.
• Experience in North American manufacturing, healthcare, medical device, consumer products, or industrial organizations.
