Demand Planner (Semiconductor Supply Chain)

Location: Alhambra, California, USA (Hybrid); authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site at the Alhambra facility

What you will do

• Own statistical demand forecasts for assigned SPP product families across a rolling 18-month horizon in SAP APO.
• Lead the monthly S&OP demand review, reconcile Sales, Business Unit, and statistical inputs, and publish the consensus plan.
• Translate demand into constrained supply plans by running MRP/SNP and planning wafer starts, die banks, assembly, and test capacity.
• Manage backlog, revenue outlooks, channel demand signals, distributor inventory, shortages, allocations, and excess positions.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, production versions, source lists, and planning master data through engineering and product-change processes.
• Build planning dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud and improve forecasting, automation, data quality, and auditability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of demand planning, supply planning, materials or production planning, or supply chain analytics experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP APO, IBP, Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder, or an equivalent enterprise planning system, including MRP execution and exception management.
• Knowledge of ERP master data, multi-level BOMs, routings, production versions, MRP parameters, inventory targets, safety stock, lot sizing, and service-level trade-offs.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of forecasting methods and accuracy metrics including MAPE, bias, and WMAPE.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work on-site at the Alhambra, California facility.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor, electronics, or other long-lead-time manufacturing experience.
• Direct experience with SAP APO Demand Planning and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with distributor POS/POI data, foundry and OSAT models, die-bank strategy, and capacity booking.
• Experience with ECN/PCN processes, NPI ramps, second-source qualification, and end-of-life transitions.
• APICS/ASCM, CPIM, CSCP, or IBF CPF certification; SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau skills.
