Campus Manager - Health & Safety (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead health and safety operations across all projects within a mission-critical campus.
• Implement site-specific safety plans, HITT standards, and client requirements through construction, energization, commissioning, and turnover.
• Manage, mentor, staff, train, and evaluate safety professionals and coordinate outside safety consultants.
• Conduct inspections, investigate incidents, evaluate subcontractor performance, and address hazards and compliance concerns.
• Review job hazard analyses and high-risk work plans covering electrical work, hazardous energy, cranes, excavation, elevated work, and confined spaces.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, safety meetings, orientations, toolbox talks, drills, and safety planning with project leadership.

Requirements

• Three to five years of construction health and safety experience, including leadership of safety professionals and oversight of complex or concurrent projects.
• Experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, or comparable construction environments.
• Working knowledge of construction safety regulations, electrical safety, hazardous energy control, commissioning, and high-hazard activities.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification required; OSHA 30-hour construction training preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work on elevated platforms, navigate uneven terrain, and stand or walk for eight hours daily.
• Commitment to on-site construction work and ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field.
• CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent designation.
