Principle Div Consultant - Medicare Provider Network Strategy (Medicare Advantage)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii are excluded.

Base pay: $92,700–$167,500 annually, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and support short-term and long-term Medicare Advantage provider network strategy initiatives from inception through completion.
• Analyze Medicare network data from internal and external sources to prioritize divisional initiatives and track progress toward goals.
• Support leadership in executing business plans, strategies, analytics, and data initiatives.
• Develop strategic network initiatives and business plans in collaboration with divisional leadership.
• Identify and present network trends and insights to cross-functional management and senior divisional leadership.
• Drive results across departments in a matrixed environment while managing multiple complex priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or strategic consulting, or 5 years of consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development, and financial management operations.
• Alternatively, 8 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, network management, or healthcare product development.
• Experience leading and formulating strategy, building strong connections, and working directly with corporate leadership.
• Experience with business analytics, information synthesis, strategic planning techniques, industry trends, program management, and problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving organization.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or health insurance experience supporting Medicare Advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Medicare Advantage provider networks, key performance indicators, trends, and financial concepts.
• Knowledge of Medicare Stars, Medicare Risk Adjustment, Medicare Finance, and Medicare plan types including D-SNP, C-SNP, and EGWP.
• Executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills, plus experience solving complex conceptual and operational problems.
• Advanced degree such as a Juris Doctor, MBA, or MHA.
