Sr. Program Intelligence & Performance Management Consultant

Location: Remote within the United States; employees are not hired from U.S. territories or Alaska, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Pennsylvania, or Maine.

Salary: $115,702–$146,370 USD target hiring range; maximum salary of $163,098 USD.

What you will do

• Define and govern performance measurement frameworks, KPIs, benchmarks, thresholds, and data-quality standards for dental, vision, and future ancillary products.
• Own OPM-required reporting, Corrective Action Plan evidence packages, regulatory submissions, performance updates, and site visit preparation.
• Synthesize TPA, network, actuarial, finance, operations, enterprise analytics, and member satisfaction data into unified program intelligence.
• Produce dashboards, executive reporting packages, Board-level materials, and strategic narratives that support program and vendor decisions.
• Lead performance deep-dives, identify root causes and risks, and recommend corrective actions, benefit changes, and program investments.
• Establish reporting standards and mentor professionals and contributors producing program analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health informatics, public administration, statistics, or a related field; relevant additional experience may substitute.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in program reporting, performance management, or health plan analytics, including 2 years in a senior, lead, or principal capacity.
• Experience owning reporting frameworks, synthesizing multiple data sources, advising senior leadership, and influencing decisions through analytical recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency with Power BI or a comparable enterprise visualization platform, including data modeling and self-service executive reporting; high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written communication, data storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, organization, and independent judgment.
• Must maintain a dedicated home workspace protecting PHI/HIPAA information and non-cellular high-speed internet with at least 30 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and latency below 80 ms. Hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with OPM, CMS, FEDVIP, FEHB, federal health benefit programs, or government contracting compliance.
• Experience with dental or vision insurance, dental benefit structures, CDT coding, loss ratio, PMPM, or premium rate regions.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
