Salary: $168,300–$297,000 USD annually, depending on location zone.

What you will do

• Define control performance metrics and key risk indicators connecting control objectives, risk exposure, and customer outcomes.
• Investigate control coverage, enforcement, exceptions, outcomes, instrumentation, and evidence quality using source data and system behavior.
• Build scalable monitoring metrics, reusable analytical modules, and automated workflows for controls and products.
• Apply statistical judgment to define populations, cohorts, baselines, thresholds, and anomaly detection approaches while managing false positives.
• Develop product governance solutions including pre-launch risk measurement plans, rollout guardrails, and post-launch monitoring.
• Partner with risk, compliance, product, engineering, and internal users to lead ambiguous initiatives and communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 7+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, including large datasets, maintainable analytical code, reusable modules, and automated data workflows.
• Strong statistical and analytical judgment involving cohort analysis, experimentation, time series, monitoring, bias, incomplete data, and misleading metrics.
• Experience translating business, policy, or control objectives into measurement frameworks and leading analytical solutions into production adoption.
• Experience with financial technology, risk, compliance, or product governance, plus strong product judgment and stakeholder communication.
• Experience using AI tools, LLMs, visualization packages, version control, and data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
