Senior Director, S&OP (Semiconductor Materials)

Salary: $172,000–$250,000 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own and continuously mature the monthly enterprise S&OP cycle, including product and portfolio review, demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP.
• Lead the evolution from S&OP to Integrated Business Planning across strategy, portfolio, demand, supply, and financial planning over an 18+ month horizon.
• Balance volatile customer demand with long-lead-time, capacity-constrained plant and supplier supply, including inventory, allocation, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Lead planning transformation, stakeholder alignment, training, governance, adoption, and future-state organizational design across a global matrixed organization.
• Own the S&OP/IBP technology roadmap with IT, including SAP ECC/IBP or equivalent platforms, analytics, dashboards, and AI/ML-enabled forecasting.
• Present risks, opportunities, trade-offs, recommendations, and business cases to executive leadership while building and developing the planning team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in S&OP, IBP, demand and supply planning, or supply chain strategy.
• Experience designing, leading, and maturing S&OP or IBP processes in a complex, multi-site, global organization.
• Proven experience leading large-scale change management and process transformation with stakeholder alignment and organizational adoption.
• Strong executive presence and ability to present complex trade-offs and influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the semiconductor or semiconductor materials industry, including long-lead-time capacity constraints and cyclical demand.
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• APICS/ASCM certification, Oliver Wight IBP training or certification, or change management training such as Prosci.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC/IBP or comparable advanced planning systems.
• Experience directly leading a Demand Planning organization.
