Engineer II - Water/Wastewater

Location: Akron, Ohio or Mentor, Ohio office

Salary: Minimum $85,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Support Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, calculations, visual aids, and permitting applications.
• Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analyses.
• Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles.
• Participate in field investigations, meetings with municipal stakeholders and contractors, and construction administration.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate work tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis on water and wastewater or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with water and wastewater or related civil engineering projects, including design, analysis, and studies.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
• Familiarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Valid driver’s license; EIT or PE preferred.
