What you will do

• Lead engineering-wide technical and non-technical initiatives and measure their impact across the organization.
• Enable autonomous engineering teams by removing blockers and creating conditions for effective decision-making.
• Hire, onboard, develop, and manage engineers at multiple levels.
• Address underperformance transparently and grow senior-level engineers.
• Drive adoption and effective use of agentic AI across engineering.
• Partner with product managers to deliver intuitive, reliable, and well-built user experiences.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing engineers in a product company.
• Examples of independently initiated engineering or process changes driven end to end and measured across multiple teams.
• Comfort working hands-off without code ownership, architecture ownership, or technical authority.
• Experience managing without an intermediate layer of team leads and architects, or removing that layer.
• Experience handling underperformance and developing senior engineers.
• Fluent Russian is required.

Nice to have

• Existing experience using agentic AI in daily work and driving its adoption beyond an individual role.
• Experience making decisions with incomplete information using logic, data, and multiple perspectives.
