Development Manager (AI)

Location: Canada; remote team members are based across Canada, the US, and the UK.

Annual salary: $158,400–$247,500 CAD; most new hires join at $188,100.

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of developers through technical and professional coaching.
• Partner with product and design to explore use cases, shape scope, and define required data.
• Drive zero-to-one product development from ambiguous ideas and prototypes to shipped clinic-focused features.
• Guide architecture reviews and technical decisions alongside senior and staff developers.
• Own delivery priorities, maintain momentum, and set an appropriate pace for experimentation and quality.
• Champion practical and responsible AI adoption in clinic experiences and team workflows.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on software development experience followed by experience managing a development team.
• Strong technical foundations with experience reviewing architecture, evaluating trade-offs, and guiding technical direction.
• Experience taking at least one product from zero to one in an ambiguous, rapidly iterating environment.
• Collaborative approach to working in a product, design, and development triad.
• Experience coaching developers and supporting their professional growth.
• Practical experience using AI tools personally or with a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with marketing tools, website builders, or analytics products.
