ServiceNow Engineer (ServiceNow/Power BI)

Location: US-Remote; U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Administer and optimize a large, multi-domain ServiceNow instance with tenant isolation, domain hierarchies, data segregation, and role-based access controls.
• Configure ServiceNow applications, catalog items, workflows, approval matrices, SLAs, scripts, ACLs, and integrations.
• Manage instance health, upgrades, clones, release procedures, update sets, and migrations across development, test, and production environments.
• Build data pipelines and Power BI dashboards using ServiceNow data, external sources, normalized models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
• Implement Power BI row-level security, workspace governance, dataset refreshes, and report performance optimization.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, cloud operations, and analytics teams while contributing to Agile planning, documentation, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience administering ServiceNow with Domain Separation and complex multi-tenant architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Service Catalog, Business Rules, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Update Sets.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards, advanced DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling, and Row-Level Security.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational data structures, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, RBAC, and identity provisioning.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Active or transferable U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• ServiceNow CSA or CAD certification.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification.
• Experience in defense, federal agency, or large managed service provider environments.
