Territory Manager - Bronx (Medical Devices)

Location: Bronx, NY; must live within the assigned territory. This is a field-based position requiring daily work in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other medical establishments, with travel by automobile and occasional train or airplane travel.

At-plan compensation: $175,000, including a $100,000 base salary and commission under the company’s sales compensation plan.

What you will do

• Sell wearable cardiac defibrillator systems, cardiac diagnostic services, and the ZOLL Patient Management system to healthcare professionals.
• Build relationships with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, hospitalists, surgeons, nurses, case managers, administrators, and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Provide clinical, reporting, and technical education on sudden cardiac death risk, appropriate patient indications, ordering, billing, and reimbursement requirements.
• Drive consistent product utilization through sales calls, medical education programs, trade shows, symposiums, and conferences.
• Manage account databases, business plans, field expenses, reports, credentialing, and account access.
• Analyze territory trends, achieve assigned sales objectives, and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3–5 years of medical equipment or specialized hospital-based pharmaceutical sales experience, or 5 years of successful sales experience including at least 1 year in healthcare sales.
• Documented history of sales success and the ability to obtain access privileges in assigned customer accounts.
• Cardiology experience is preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
• Must live within the assigned territory and be able to work daily in local medical facilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
