Sales Engineer for Retail and Manufacturing (Automation and AI)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; listed locations include Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The role requires 20–25% travel.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic advisor to prospects, customers, and the salesforce on automation and AI opportunities.
• Define account strategies, identify desired business outcomes, and expand hirify.global solution adoption.
• Build and deliver retail- and manufacturing-specific demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements.
• Conduct process discovery sessions, create automation opportunity backlogs, and quantify potential value.
• Develop industry-specific solution accelerators and marketplace offerings.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and sales teams to improve offerings and share best practices.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Industry knowledge in retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, store operations, merchandising, procurement, finance, customer service, supply chain operations, or related areas.
• Understanding of retail and manufacturing processes such as order management, inventory management, demand planning, procure-to-pay, production planning, quality management, and workforce operations.
• Ability to understand technical landscapes and architect complex solutions.
• Experience simplifying and communicating complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
• Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous process improvement, and operational excellence practices.

• Experience working with Fortune 100 enterprises and solving business problems with technology.
• Background in consulting, sales engineering, industry solutions, operations transformation, or running automation programs.
• Experience with back-office automation, customer support, finance, procurement, or supply chain operations.
