Commercial Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: Full-time role based in the London office, with hybrid working. Some international travel may be required.

hirify.global is building an AI platform for autonomous driving, combining embodied AI with scalable deployment for global OEM partners.

What you will do

• Draft, review and negotiate supplier, software, SaaS, services, procurement, supply chain, OEM and Tier 1 commercial agreements.
• Advise on intellectual property, AI and data usage, privacy, data protection and employment matters.
• Support international expansion, strategic transactions, new product deployments and vehicle fleet operations across international markets.
• Address emerging legal questions at the intersection of law, AI, autonomous vehicles and technology.
• Build scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks and governance structures.
• Educate commercial and operational stakeholders on legal risk, contracting practices and legal processes.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with flexibility for candidates with more or less experience.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial, procurement, supply chain, technology and vendor agreements.
• Ability to communicate legal and commercial risk clearly and provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-moving, technology-driven environments.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, autonomy and judgement across multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, mobility, technology, autonomous vehicles, robotics or AI.
• Experience with OEM, strategic partnership or large-scale B2B transactions involving hardware, software, data or integrated technology.
• Cross-border advisory experience across the UK, US, Europe and Japan.
• Experience with German commercial or employment matters and German stakeholders or local counsel.
• Experience automating and scaling legal processes, templates or commercial legal functions.

Hiring process
