Country Counsel, UK & Ireland (Commercial Technology)

What you will do

• Lead legal support for hirify.global’s UK and Ireland Sales & Marketing organization.
• Negotiate complex hardware, services, managed services, subscription, SaaS, and technology transactions with customers and channel partners.
• Advise on commercial, competition, data protection, privacy, consumer protection, distribution, disputes, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
• Partner with business, compliance, finance, procurement, sales, and specialist Legal teams to deliver practical solutions.
• Develop guidance, playbooks, policies, and self-service tools that simplify legal support and improve scalability.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of commercial lawyers and legal resources.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, Solicitor or Advocate in Scotland, or holding an equivalent UK legal qualification.
• Typically 10+ years of post-qualification experience in a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Strong experience with complex commercial, technology, services, software, and channel transactions.
• Knowledge of competition law, data protection and privacy, consumer protection, cybersecurity, AI, corporate governance, anti-corruption, and financial regulations.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders and working across complex, cross-functional, international environments.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performing legal professionals and teams.
