Paralegal (US Immigration)

Location: Remote from Colombia; preferred location is Latin America. Working hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm CST.

Salary: USD $1,200–$1,600 per month.

Work with a US-based law firm specializing in family-based immigration and client-focused legal support.

What you will do

• Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, supporting documents, and legal correspondence.
• Support family petitions, adjustment-of-status matters, and consular processing.
• Collect, review, and organize client documents and supporting evidence.
• Track case deadlines, USCIS notices, filing requirements, and requests for evidence.
• Communicate with clients to collect information and missing documentation.
• Conduct legal research, prepare case summaries, and maintain accurate case files and case management records.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a US Immigration Paralegal.
• Mandatory experience working with a US law firm.
• Strong experience with US family-based immigration cases.
• Strong understanding of USCIS processes, immigration terminology, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, deadline management, and ability to manage multiple cases remotely.

Nice to have

• Law degree or attorney experience in the candidate’s home country.
• Experience in immigration and family law.
• Experience with Clio, Filevine, or similar legal case management systems.
