Facilities Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Sanford Machine Development Center, Sanford, North Carolina, United States; five days per week on-site, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $81,370–$122,060 per year.

What you will do

• Identify, prioritize, scope, and execute capital- and expense-funded facility improvements.
• Manage project schedules, estimates, spending, risks, documentation, implementation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop scopes of work, evaluate proposals, coordinate vendors and contractors, and manage purchasing, invoices, forecasts, and actual spending.
• Coordinate facility and infrastructure repairs with maintenance teams, contractors, engineers, and technical resources.
• Integrate facility work with engineering, testing, Prove Design, and Endurance activities to minimize operational disruption.
• Coordinate 5S improvements and manage supplies, spare parts, assets, safety, environmental, security, and contractor requirements.

Requirements

• Experience or equivalent education in facilities, maintenance, engineering, construction, project coordination, or a related field.
• Experience with facility repairs, infrastructure improvements, or capital and expense projects in manufacturing, industrial, testing, or product-development environments.
• Experience developing scopes of work, coordinating contractors and stakeholders, and managing schedules and costs.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, work-order systems, preventive maintenance, asset management, 5S, facility reporting, and Office products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate risks, exercise sound judgment, and work with increasing independence.
