HR Compensation Intern

Location: Spring, Texas, United States; hybrid with an average requirement of two days per week in an HPE office

Salary: USD 26.00–30.00 per hour in Texas

What you will do

• Learn how compensation is classified and managed across base salary, bonuses, and stock.
• Support compensation center-of-excellence activities, including organizational budgeting, reporting, training, and country-specific processes.
• Audit compensation information with a high level of attention to detail.
• Analyze compensation data and build reports or dashboards.
• Create training materials and documentation for HR, people leaders, and team members.
• Identify process efficiencies and contribute new approaches to compensation operations.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment from the Spring, Texas area, including an average of two office days per week.
• Rising senior graduating in May 2028 and pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, human resources, data analytics, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced mathematics and Excel skills.
• Curiosity, problem-solving ability, independent research skills, and willingness to collaborate.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to ask thoughtful questions.
• Leadership experience through campus, extracurricular, volunteer, or organizational activities.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience.
• Exposure to coding.
• Active campus leadership experience focused on creating a positive impact.
