Sales Compensation Consultant

What you will do

• Administer and support the development of salary structures, bonus programs, sales compensation plans, compensation systems, and related policies.
• Conduct compensation surveys, compile market data, and support job valuation and market pricing.
• Advise managers and team members on compensation policies, fixed and variable pay programs, and compensation systems.
• Review and maintain job descriptions and the compensation database.
• Monitor statutory requirements and support compliance with compensation regulations.
• Prepare compensation reports, forecasts, and analyses using HRIS and business applications, including executive compensation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, typically in Human Resources Management, Finance, or an analytical discipline.
• Typically at least 4 years of relevant experience in compensation analysis, compensation administration, or HR with a compensation focus.
• Knowledge of compensation concepts, HR practices, business operations, compensation theories, practical applications, statistical techniques, and the FLSA.
• Advanced Excel skills and intermediate Word, PowerPoint, and Access skills.
• Ability to learn HRIS applications and use reporting tools to create ad-hoc reports.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or MBA in Human Resources Management or Finance.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience and experience in an advisory role.
• CCP, GRP, CSCP, or CECP certification.
