Software Engineer, Web3 Backend

Location: Menlo Park, CA or New York City, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Base pay: $130,000–$195,000 USD annually, depending on compensation zone and location. Additional bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits are available.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for Wallet, Tokenization, and Web3 platforms.
• Connect traditional market infrastructure such as brokerages, ledgers, and corporate actions with on-chain systems.
• Develop smart contract integrations, chain indexers, DEX trading flows, and product-facing platform features.
• Improve system performance, engineering productivity, correctness, auditability, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, client, platform teams, and external partners.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Backend development expertise in Go, Python, or Java and a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures.
• Strong system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience reasoning about correctness-critical systems, including idempotency, reconciliation, and failure modes.
• Ownership of high-quality projects delivered end to end in cross-functional environments.
• Interest in blockchain fundamentals such as EVM, smart contracts, wallets, or on-chain settlement.
