Design Engineer (Vue)

Location: On-site in Austin, Texas, United States, with office attendance 4–5 days per week.

What you will do

• Own feature design from problem framing and user flows through high-fidelity UI.
• Ship production Vue and TypeScript code alongside engineering and own the quality of delivered work.
• Build designed components as real code within the design system and improve its consistency.
• Design and build internal tools for customer success and operations teams, including AI-enabled workflows.
• Speak directly with users, prototype in code, and turn research into product decisions.
• Measure product performance after launch and iterate on the experience.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience designing and shipping software products.
• A portfolio of shipped product work showing design decisions, implementation, and current results.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, including typography, hierarchy, layout, and color.
• Fluency in Figma and sufficient web development experience to build and ship personal work.
• Experience working in a production codebase with Git, pull requests, and code review.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue and TypeScript.
• Experience in streaming media or B2B SMB software.
• Experience designing or developing 10-foot TV interfaces or mobile applications.
• Experience as a startup founder or early employee.
