Senior Product Designer, Design Systems

Salary: $188,000–$211,500 annual US base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Maintain and evolve Mana’s foundational design tokens, components, and patterns, including bug triage, updates, migrations, and deprecations.
• Build and refine Figma components with robust variants, properties, auto layout, variables, and structures aligned with code implementations.
• Prioritize design system maintenance and evolution work and help shape contribution and governance practices.
• Explore how AI skills, agents, and assisted workflows can improve the usability, maintenance, and scalability of the system.
• Support product teams through help channels, contribution guidance, documentation, tutorials, mocks, and interactive prototypes.
• Extend Mana’s visual language across new components and surfaces in collaboration with design and engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of UX or product design experience, including 2+ years working with design systems, maintenance, documentation, and support.
• Expertise in Figma component building, including variants, component properties, auto layout, variables, and library management.
• Working knowledge of front-end code, component implementation, GitHub, and Markdown.
• Hands-on experience using AI in a design systems context, including skills, agents, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Strong visual judgment and craft across Web, Desktop, iOS, and Android, including motion and inclusive design.
• Experience with WCAG accessibility standards and diplomatic, empathetic, low-ego communication in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience planning and leading migrations or deprecations of legacy components across a large product.
• Experience with a design system co-owned by design and engineering.
