Senior Application Support Engineer (Linux)

What you will do

• Support and maintain applications in Linux environments.
• Manage web server environments and application migrations, including migrations from WebSphere to JBoss.
• Configure and maintain security components such as SSL certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• Work with scheduling and monitoring tools, including Control-M, VTOM, Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK.
• Manage deployment tooling and delivery environments across Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience working on Linux IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments; Windows Server knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in shell and Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of web servers and application migration processes.
• Knowledge of SSL certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• General knowledge of scheduling, monitoring, and deployment tools.
