Application Support Engineer – IT Infrastructure and Systems

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Provide proactive application support for complex IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues to minimize downtime and maintain performance.
• Collaborate on system updates, patches, improvements, and new system deployments.
• Monitor system health and security, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions.
• Document technical processes, support procedures, and incident reports.
• Improve support workflows and service quality while communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in application support or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments and enterprise system protocols.
• Experience with monitoring tools and support ticketing systems.
• Good command of French and communicative English.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues efficiently.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud services and ITSM frameworks.
• ITIL, CompTIA, or relevant vendor-specific certifications.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment or providing remote support.
