Business Analyst / QA Engineer

Location: New Zealand (remote-friendly)

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 NZD per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create process flows, BPDs, and workflow documentation.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT plans for web and mobile applications.
• Test REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Manage defects from discovery through resolution.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Experience in business analysis and software testing.
• Strong manual testing experience across web and mobile applications.
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• Excellent requirements and technical documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, independence, and ability to manage competing priorities.
