Lead, Inbound Destination Operations (Dallas)

Location: Dallas, Texas, USA; hybrid model with a commitment to work from the office 3 days per week

Annual base salary: $87,300–$113,500

What you will do

• Oversee inbound logistics operations for two AMR Foreign Trade Zone distribution centers and three LATAM distribution centers.
• Coordinate with 4PL control towers in Asia and Mexico, 3PL partners, warehouses, trade compliance, procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Use Asana, AI tools, and Power BI to analyze network performance, improve EDI data quality, and increase ETA accuracy.
• Review international freight Statements of Work and manage supplier performance, scorecards, onboarding, SLA compliance, and service improvements.
• Lead escalation and remediation for delays, missing seals, theft, cargo discrepancies, and FTZ receipt documentation issues.
• Drive projects focused on network design, lead-time reduction, container utilization, landed-cost control, and long-term process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in global logistics or transportation management, including hands-on US and LATAM inbound operations.
• Expertise in FTZ procedures, customs, trade compliance, carrier networks, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience operating within or leading an end-to-end logistics control tower.
• Strong business analysis, dashboard/reporting, stakeholder management, budget management, landed-cost modeling, and freight-audit capabilities.
• Ability to work in a Dallas-based hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office.

Nice to have

• Practical application of AI in supply chain or logistics.
• PMP certification and proficiency with Asana or similar project-management software.
• Master’s degree or professional certification such as CSCP.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume global organization.
