Logistics Fulfillment Planning Analyst

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; field and onsite visits to warehouses and transportation facilities may be required, with travel as needed.

Salary: $69,500–$102,100 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics plans across replenishment, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and distributor operations.
• Monitor execution against service, cost, inventory, and volume targets; identify capacity, labor, inventory, and carrier constraints and drive recovery actions.
• Build KPI reports and scorecards covering service, fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory health, damages, claims, transportation cost, transit time, velocity, and working capital.
• Coordinate ship plans from order-based delivery creation through final delivery, including capacity prioritization, appointment scheduling, and distributor accountability.
• Lead issue triage, escalation, action tracking, and decision-making across Logistics, Customer Management, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, carriers, and 3PLs.
• Maintain operating playbooks, standard operating procedures, process maps, escalation paths, recovery plans, and carrier routing guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain action logs, and drive cross-functional action closure in a fast-paced operating environment.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis, including ERP, WMS, TMS, and shipment visibility system outputs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear narratives and recommended actions.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work on a computer; occasional lifting may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with transportation planning, execution, carrier performance management, scorecards, QBRs, or corrective actions.
• Knowledge of replenishment planning, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, claims, damages, distributor operations, and customs processes.
• Experience with S&OP/S&OE operating models, Power BI, Tableau, or structured problem-solving.
