Supply Chain Specialist (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Procure and expedite materials according to Bills of Materials (BOMs), managing timelines, deliverables, risks, and reporting.
• Issue purchase orders based on forecasts, planning, ROI models, and projections.
• Develop and improve SOPs for sourcing, planning, purchasing, and supplier quality agreements.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and lead times while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support purchasing operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams during audits and regulatory reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or account management.
• Experience with 503A or 503B pharmacy manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing BOMs and working directly with vendors and suppliers.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, relationship-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience with quality investigations, deviations, CAPA, and supplier audits.
• Understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
• Familiarity with USP-NF 797 pharmaceutical compounding requirements.
